A personalized comfort sleeve made in a color and texture inspired by your beloved pet's coat. It's a soft, dual-sided tactile keepsake designed to recall the comfort of petting them. One side invokes the feeling of dog/cat fur, while the other side may feel like petting their soft underbelly.

Why I created the Pet Memorial Sleeve
I started making an equine-inspired soothing sleeve to remind me of the grounding presence of horses between equine therapy visits. I was planning on making a cat/dog version because I know how much emotional support our cats and dogs provide. Friends who received the equine-inspired soothing sleeves, mentioned that they provided them comfort after losing a beloved horse.
Then the unbearable happened. I lost my beloved soul dog, April. I longed to pet her again. So I made a custom, personalized sleeve that was similar in color and texture to her fur and wrote her name on it in permanent ink. I find myself turning to that pet memorial sleeve for comfort. So, I decided to make custom sleeves for other pet parents who are grieving.

Please note that NOTHING can replace petting our beloved dog/cat/horse. This personalized, custom sleeve is meant to remind us of the feeling of petting them. I will try to match the texture and color as close as possible using faux fur.
Right now, this is available in only ONE SIZE. One size fits most average adults. I am not making a youth/kid or XL version at the moment.
Please note: Because I may not have the material on hand this is a custom order and will take four weeks.
